A brand-new karting experience with a difference has arrived in the West Midlands and promises thrill seekers fun and fast paced action – often going sideways.

The Drift Kartz Experience at Seighford Driving Centre in Staffordshire is now available to book through TrackDays.co.uk.

It’s a new take on conventional karting, as the karts have hydraulic handbrakes and plastic wheels, making them ideal for skidding into the corners on the purpose-built outdoor circuit which has a smooth and hard surface.

Imran Malek, corporate sales manager at TrackDays.co.uk, said: “The all-new Drift Kartz experience is one of the most outrageous driving packages and will appeal to adrenaline lovers looking to try something unusual on four-wheels.”

The drifting adventure, available to book for individuals and up to groups of six people, starts with an introduction and safety briefing before heading out onto the circuit to learn the art of drifting.

Imran added: “Forget what you know about conventional go-karting as this is, quite literally, a totally different approach where going sideways is the main attraction.”

“It’s great fun and is sure to be a hit as a family day out and for stag and hen dos. In fact, it is most likely to be a very popular experience for the foreseeable future so book early to be one of the first to enjoy it.”

Participants will be given a safety helmet, which must be worn, while there will be a maximum of six karts on the track at once. The driving session lasts 20 minutes but allow up to one hour on site.
