A leading UK housebuilder is bringing much needed new homes to Buxton with the launch of its latest development.

College Hill Park on Burlow Road, Buxton, is a collection of 3 and 4 bedroomed properties built on the site of the former High Peak College at Harpur Hill.

The first homes have now been released for sale and include the semi-detached 3-bedroom Danbury style property complete with en suite available from just £179,995.

High Peak Borough Council granted full planning permission in July for the erection of 153 properties with associated access, public open space and landscaping for the development on land off Trenchard Drive.

Preparations are well underway on the site, with the first completions likely to be summer 2020.

Dave Hodgson, sales director for Persimmon Homes North West, said: “We are thrilled to finally release for sale our new homes at what is a fantastic site in Buxton.

“The development is perfect for first time buyers and families, with a wide variety of stunning homes available. We have already had a huge amount of interest, particularly in the 100% part exchange scheme that we have.”

Opening offers at the development include Persimmon’s ‘ultimate offer’ which sees carpets, vinyls, upgraded kitchen, turf and £500 towards legal fees included in the sale price.

College Hill Park is on the doorstep of the stunning Peak District National Park, and the local primary school is less than a mile away.
