Dan Clark has exchanged cars for cookers with the launch of professional oven valeting business, Ovenu Brackley.
The 37-year-old former car detailer decided the time was right to fulfil a long-held ambition to become his own boss, giving him greater control over his career and finances.
Having previously restored the showroom shine to countless motors, Dan is now applying those same meticulous standards to ovens, hobs, extractor fans, microwaves and range cookers.
Dan, who has lived in Brackley since childhood, said: “As a former car detailer, I understand how important it is to deliver exceptional service, and that’s exactly what I’ll bring to every job.
“I really enjoy meeting people, so this is the perfect fit for me. My aim is to build a thriving business, and long-term I’d love to take on another technician to expand the service further.”
Before moving into car detailing, Dan spent more than a decade working at a timber warehouse but had always harboured an ambition to run his own business, enjoying the freedom and flexibility it offers.
In his spare time, he enjoys football and live music and has already started to build a client base through both word of mouth as well as client leads generated by Ovenu.

The Ovenu process involves dismantling key oven components – such as doors, panels, fans and shelves – and cleaning them in design-registered tank equipment using safe, non-caustic and biodegradable products. The service leaves ovens in near showroom condition, and also covers hobs, extractor hoods, microwaves and range cookers.
