Carl Haskell, Project Manager for Martin Grant Homes’ Buckton Fields development in Boughton on the outskirts of Northampton, has been recognised for his exceptional standards and hard work at Buckton Fields with a coveted National House Building Council (NHBC) award, for the third consecutive year.

The NHBC’s Pride in the Job Quality Awards are the most highly regarded competition in the housebuilding industry and have been rewarding excellence for over four decades. The awards recognise and reward the best run building sites in the country and are one of the highest accolades a Site Manager can achieve.

Carl Haskell, from Langford, Bedfordshire, comments: “Being recognised for what myself and the team does at Buckton Fields means a lot. We have worked hard over the years to build homes of a high-standard and to achieve the NHBC Pride in the Job Award for the third year running shows that we have done just that.”

Competing against over 10,000 entrants, Carl is one of only 450 recognised for their dedication to building homes of an outstanding standard. In addition to spot checks from the NHBC, Site Managers are judged on their consistency, attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise, and health and safety.

Chris Hamilton, Managing Director at Martin Grant Homes, comments: “A Pride in the Job Award recognises the hugely important role that Site Managers play on a development, it is a significant achievement for Carl. To win this award three years in a row truly showcases the incredible hard work that has been put into the development by Carl and his team, and we are very proud of them.”

Buckton Fields is a new community of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes ideally located between Northampton and Boughton. As well as a range of new homes, the development also has its own primary school opening in September, convenient shops and services nearby and open parkland with play spaces.
