Perfectly Clear, one of the first flavoured water brands to be produced in the UK, is encouraging children across the nation to get active and keep hydrated by sponsoring their school sports days. This includes Greenfield Community School in Nottingham, who recently held their annual sports day with the support of Perfectly Clear.
Greenfield Community Schools’ sports day took place last week, with nearly 250 children aged between 3 – 11 taking part in a range of traditional activities from the egg and spoon race to the beat the goalie. Perfectly Clear donated £150 to the school to be spent on a range of sports equipment, alongside donating bottles of its still flavoured water, providing tasty hydration to the children and their parents throughout the day.
To celebrate the winning teams, Perfectly Clear also provided medals for each child in the winning team, alongside recycling bins to encourage everyone to recycle all empty bottles consumed on the sports day.
Heidi Hunt, PE Co-ordinator and teacher from Greenfields Community School commented: “We were delighted that Perfectly Clear sponsored our sports day and helped to make the day such a success. The donation of £150 was really helpful and it will be invested on new sports equipment for our school which we can use all year round. Furthermore, the donated water kept the children and their parents hydrated throughout the day. What’s more, the children loved receiving their Perfectly Clear medals, with the Perfectly Clear trophy awarded to Navy Blue team at the end of the day.”
