Car leasing company Pink Car Leasing has Daniel Craig to thank for a surge in orders of Aston Martin sports cars.
In the eight weeks since the much-awaited release of No Time to Die, the Leicester-based leasing expert has seen a 39 per cent increase in sales for Aston Martins, the car synonymous with James Bond, 007.
In the latest film in the James Bond franchise – which is Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as Ian Fleming’s master spy – four Aston Martins from the past, present and future, are featured, namely the DBS, Valhalla, DB8 and V8 Saloon.
In the case of Pink Car Leasing, the most popular Aston Martin’s leased to clients by the firm over the last six weeks are the Vantage, DB11 and DBS. These are in addition to wide range of high end vehicles the firm has access to.
Caroline Hill, Pink Car Leasing Commercial Director, said: “Since No Time to Die hit the big screen at the end of September, we have seen a huge lift in orders of Aston Martin’s.
“In the last six weeks, there has been a 39 per cent rise in orders of these iconic British sports cars compared to the previous period. This corresponds exactly to when the latest James Bond film went on general release.
“It’s amazing the influence that Hollywood plays in people’s lifestyle choices, and our latest James Bond experience is proof of this. We are certainly not complaining.
“What many people probably don’t realise is that Pink Car Leasing is the leading leaser of ‘high end’ vehicles, and you don’t need to be James Bond to drive away in one of our top of the range vehicles, be it an Aston Martin, Range Rover or Land Rover.”
